Our Mission

The Texas Association of Manufacturers promotes and protects a pro-growth business environment that ensures a strong manufacturing sector and a competitive Texas.

Today’s manufacturing sector brings new technologies and consumer goods to the market and drives the Texas economy forward. Manufacturers in Texas account for more than 11.2 percent of the total output in the state – $226.95 billion in 2022 – and manufacturers employ more than 924,000 Texans in jobs that pay an average compensation of more than $105,000 a year.

At the Statehouse and at our nation’s Capital, TAM gives voice to its membership of more than 600 small and large companies from all across the state.

TAM works to educate, inform and empower our industry leaders, consumers, policymakers and the media with timely perspective on the issues and concerns impacting the industry and its members’ ability to create jobs, invest, expand and keep Texas prosperous.

TAM and its members want Texas and Washington to know that

#ManufacturingMatters.
